FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ![]() Quadrophenia, for better or worse, still pretty much stands alone as the only mainstream Mod movie around. That's not to say other Mod-themed movies haven't been made - the arthouse has certainly been keen to use Mod as a focal point on recent years for films like American Mod, Young Birds Fly (which is reviewed here) and We Are The Mods, currently doing the rounds at various US theatres. Surprisingly, the 1960s film makers didn't seem interested in Mods, although many people who could pass for Mods appeared in movies of the era. In fact, there's a whole thread on the forums called Mods in films and TV picking out some examples, including the likes of The Sorcerers, What's Good For The Goose, Up The Junction and Haunted House of Horror. Review of many of these movies are available on the site. |
